We believe the people who understand an industry best are those who have actually earned a living in that industry. That's why members of our investment team have extensive technology backgrounds, including degrees in the sciences and solid work experience in technology industries.
Our investment approach combines "top-down" and "bottom-up" investment techniques. Our analysts begin with a "top-down" examination of the trends that will drive growth over the next 3 to 5 years, or longer. Once macroeconomic trends have been identified, our team utilizes a "bottom-up" approach in analyzing the individual companies it expects will be best able to prosper from these trends over the long-term. The sharing of ideas among our analysts is an essential part of our investment approach.
